Position Description:
We are seeking a Fertilizers Specialist to join the Feedstock & Fuel Marketing Division of Domestic Sales & Logistics Dept.
The Feedstock & Fuel Marketing Division is responsible to promote and optimize Gas/NGLs products utilization and marketing in the Kingdom’s various industries for maximum economic benefit. This includes evaluating customers’ Fuel/Feedstock requirement to maximizing the value-add to the kingdom, promote local content as well as monitoring the development of allocated projects and the performance of the operational customers. Such charter necessitates to provide high level of quality business, engineering, and technical support to all stakeholders including the Ministry of Energy and other Government entities. Fertilizers is one of the major domestic hydrocarbons consumers. The demand and development of this industry is continually growing which require handling by professionals with distinguished technical capability and analytical capacity. This entails the need of expertise in Fertilizers industry.
The Fertilizers Specialist primary role is to perform technical and business activities related to the Fertilizers industry including but not limited to; evaluation of Gas/NGL fuel & feedstock dispositions , perform market analysis on the petrochemical products, develop and negotiate Gas/NGL sales agreements.
Minimum Requirements:
As the successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized and approved program.
You will have minimum of fifteen years (15) experience in the Fertilizers Industry. You should have a good knowledge of the Fertilizers industry landscape including manufacturing technologies, products portfolios, specialty products & applications, industry economics including projects feasibility studies and Fertilizers products market outlook. Preferably, you should have worked in new mega Fertilizers projects development and consultancy projects.
Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:
Evaluate Gas/NGL fuel & feedstock requests to ensure best efficient utilization of products and maximize economic returns to the Kingdom. Provide advices to management and decision makers on the viability of the
projects that would generate the most value to the kingdom’s economy.
Perform market analysis of the Fertilizers products and advise decision makers to ensure producing the most adding-value derivatives.
Develop and execute GAS/NGL Supply Agreements and execute domestic customer’s Design Basis Scoping Paper (DBSP), Engineering & Construction and Operations &
Maintenance (O&M) agreements related to the products delivery systems.
Participate in kingdom’s wide energy committees and studies.
Monitor customers’ projects progress to ensure that the project execution is proceeding as planned.
Perform market research and market outlook for Fertilizers products.
